The Streets “The Escapist” free download + release date

It seems that Mike Skinner aka The Streets is completing his fourth studio album called “Everything is Borrowed”. He recently made available the album cut “The Escapist” through his website. A shoe-string budget video was also shot to accompany the song.
Describing the album concept, Skinner goes on as followed: “It’s the sound of an inner monologue and imagined beach-like new horizons. It has 11 songs on it which, of course, is the number that solves life itself. Not sure whether 11 is in the Fibonacci sequence but it should be”. The album will be released on September 15th.
