Is the state of Hip-Hop in the past few years been deceiving you? Do you long for when the “Undergound” was Mainstream and the backpack was an essential fashion accessory part of a lifestyle?
Skillz aka Mad Skillz (for the old school heads) seems quite moved by this as he just released his second official album (in 12 years!) titled “The Million Dollar Backpack” this past tuesday. The album features collaborations by the likes of DJ Jazzy Jeff, Freeway, Common and The Roots’ Black Thought & ?uestlove.
