Gnarls Barkley have announced has scheduled “The June Residency Series,” a set of intimate shows in London and Paris, for June 12-18. The shows will feature a core lineup of artist/producer Danger Mouse, vocalist Cee-Lo, and multi-instrumentalist Josh Klinghoffer, playing rare minimalist versions of popular Gnarls songs. A few close associates of Gnarls may make surprise guest appearances. Attendance will be limited.

Prior to the European dates, the band will be playing at the Apple Store in Soho on June 10th at 7pm.

“Before we get into our summer festival schedule, we wanted to get closer to our biggest fans,” said a spokesperson for Gnarls. “When Gnarls plays live, they usually go full-tilt, with costumes and sometimes even spaceships. These performances will expose all the nerves and heart behind that, and reveal the essence of the songs.”
