J Dilla ‘Pay Jay’ shelved album gets released

Back in 2003, J Dilla recorded an album under a contract with MCA records from which the sessions sparked the popular 12" "Fuck the Police". The record was tentatively called "Pay Jay" and Dilla the producer was to let his MPCs aside and go solo on the other end of the microphone with fellow producers landing him a hand with the beats. The album was completed in 2003 but MCA never released it and decided to shelve. With the passing of Jay Dee two years ago, the asking price for such lost material has been rising and the album was just recently leaked on the web. It is still unclear whether MCA has intentions of releasing the album under the physical form.
