The Music Tank

It seems that more and more big time companies outside of the musical realm are trying to dig into the underground music scene to push forth their product. Much like Smirnoff did earlier this year, worldwide recognized shoe company and trendsetter Converse put together a collaboration of diverse musical artists comprising of The Strokes’ frontman Julian Casablancas, star on the rise Santogold, and N*E*R*D’s Pharrell. The track is called “My Drive Thru”. The song was put together in celebration of Converse’s century long business run. The song “My Drive Thru” is available free of charge as of now on Converse’s website.

In addition to collaborating on the track, the artists also participated in the creation of a music video that will be released during the summer.
